Culpeper Ministerial Association |
We who meet as the "Culpeper County Ministerial Association" agree to the following:
PURPOSE We meet for Christian fellowship, to share information and resources for ministry, and to plan and coordinate community events and services for the glory of God. ANNOUNCEMENTS MONTHLY CMA MEETINGS The Culpeper County Ministerial Association (CMA) meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 8 AM at Culpeper Regional Hospital. WEEKLY PRAYER FOCUS On Sunday August 27, 2006 the Culpeper News began a weekly newspaper article on behalf of Pray Culpeper. Each week, a different community leader is chosen to be prayed for. We encourage all the churches to add an item to their weekly bulletins listing the leader and title of the person to be prayed for along with the Pray Culpeper website (www.prayculpeper.org). The specific weekly prayer focus can be found on this website ahead of time. PRAY! PRAY! PRAY! One of the keys to transforming a community is for pulpit and marketplace ministers to meet together regularly to pray. This creates unity in the body of Christ and invokes the power of God for the glory of God. We invite you to join our Pray Culpeper team! NATIONAL DAYS OF PRAYER & FASTING The first Friday of each month is a national day of prayer and fasting.
| Monday October 1, 2007Today's Verse: For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. |

DOCTRINE
We affirm together "that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures..." (1 Corinthians 15:3, 4) We further hold to the Apostles' Creed as the doctrinal basis of our fellowship together. |
